Day(1) Arrival Yangon (English Language Station Guide)

Arrive at Yangon airport, meet with Journeys Princess Myanmar representative along with your guide and transfer to your hotel. Until recently Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Asia. After fresh up, visit Chaunk Htet Kyi reclining Buddha image (if you visit it, you may skip) and Kabar Aye Pagoda and cave so called World Peace Pagoda, Mae-La-Mu Pagoda, Kyauk-taw-gyi reclining Marble Buddha Image and you may observe White Elephant nearby Kyauk-taw-gyi Pagoda. End your day with a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold along with numeric precious stones such as jade, ruby, sapphire and diamond and you may enjoy the sunset from Shwedagon Pagoda. Day(2) Yangon – Taugoo – Pho Kyar Elephant Camp (English Language Station Guide)

Breakfast at hotel, embark for Taungoo about (287.8 km.), (approx 4 hrs. drive), visit Pho Kyar Elephant Camp and you may enjoy the activities at Pho Kyar Elephant Camp such as Elephant riding about (30) minutes, Elephant dance show, Elephant bathing, Elephant Feeding and Elephant working along with forest labours in to forest and pulling the huge stem of teak trees, those are our treasure as if jewel. Overnight at Pho Kyar Forest Resort in Yangon. (B)


Day(3) Pho Kyar Elephant Camp – Mt. Popa (English Language Station Guide)

Breakfast at hotel, proceed to Mt. Popa via Meikhtilar and Kyauk Padaung where you may observe ways of life of simple local people in Kyaukpadaung and visit colourfull Kyauk Padaung Market. Afterwards continue to Mt. Popa, visit to Mt. Popa (45 km, approx 1½ hour) an extinct volcano 1518 meter above sea with its shrine dedicated to animist spirits, known as "Nats". On the way observe local daily life activities such as toddy palm juice extracting, sweet ball (brown sugar) making process and hand drill edible oil production etc. For the energetic it is time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the hill. Day(4) Mt. Popa – Monywar ( English Speaking Guide )

Early morning can be able to enjoy bird watching along with sun rise of Oasis in Myanmar dry zone. Afterwards, breakfast at hotel, then continue to Monywar, en-route visit Kyauk Kar Village in which you may visit famous Shwe Gu Ni Pagoda, observe cotton blanket weavers, and the traditional lacquer ware workers at Kyaukkar village. Overnight at Win Unity Hotel in Monywar. (B)


Day(5) Mt. Popa – Monywar ( English Speaking Guide )

Breakfast at hotel, (Pls. choose one!) embark to visit (by car) OR as option-(by boat & to proceed by jeep) depart for jetty, cross the Chindwin river and proceed to Poe Win Taung site where Buddha Images in the caves carved from the rocky hills. This extraordinary complex consists of 947 sandstone caves dug out of the hills and contains what is considered by archaeologists to be the richest collection of mural paintings and Buddhist statues in South East Asia. Po Win Taung with its unique Buddha Images and precious frescoes some dating from the early 17th century, is a must to see for anyone with an interest in Buddhist arts. proceed to near by Shwebataung, another very interesting side where Monasteries and temples are carved out of narrow cliffs. In the afternoon, Thanboddhay Pagoda, a huge temple that houses over 500,000 Buddha images. Take a walk through the nearby banyan tree grove Boddhi-Tataung with the thousand Buddha images sitting at the foot of each tree. Enjoy the panoramic view from Aung Setkya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills. Overnight at Win Unity Hotel in Monywar. (B)


Day(6) Monywar – Sagaing –Ava– Mandalay ( English Speaking Guide )

After early breakfast, drive to Sagaing Hill over AVA Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River and observe the lunch process of nuns at Sak-Kya-Sitha nunnery, afterwards, hill up to Sagaing Hill is dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, its retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Explore Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonse Pagoda and around. After visit, hill down and continue to forgotten capital of Ava, having 400 years the longest serve capital of Konebaung Dynasty located across Myitnge River. Sightseeing by pony cart, Highlight; unique monasteries and monuments include a look at 88 foot high watchtower, Bargaya teak monastery built in 1834 which is famous for its teak pillars amounting to 267 in total and the remains of the royal palace and fort. Drive to Mandalay and check-in your hotel. Overnight at Ayarwaddy River View Hotel in Mandalay. (B)


Day(7) Mandalay - Putao (English Language Station Guide)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Dat-dar-oo airport by your throughout guide (After drop off you at airport, he will return to Yangon) for your bound flight to Putao. Upon arrival at Putao airport, you will be met our representative (local English Speaking Guide) and transfer to your guest house. Putao, lies in a flat valley, jumping-off point for trekkers who want to explore the region’s deep forests, wildlife sanctuaries and snow-capped mountains etc. Check in at hotel and lunch stop. Afternoon, walk through plain of paddy fields to Majaw Lisu village. Explore this unique village, interaction with local and walk along Majaw creek leaving beautiful sites behind having backdrop of Mt. Madwe with blazing snow over the horizon. Return to Putao, dinner and overnight at Htawan Razi gueshouse . (Total walking hour - approx 2 hrs.).


Day(8) Machanbaw & Kaungmulone excursion ( English Speaking Guide )

Breakfast and depart by jeep through the vast Putao plain on pebbled road to Naungkhine (20 km, approx one hour), we get off the jeep and take a private boat to make Malikha River sightseeing and visiting Spirit Island. It is one of the wonders of Putao area. After boat trip, visit Machanbaw, a small administrative town ex-Putao with beautifully set up colonial style town. After lunch at a local restaurant, we walk up to the so-called stone dragon park which should take about 30 minutes to visit a park where there is a so-called "stone dragon" the snake-like rock formation. Later we drive to Htawadan village, a large Rawan village, situates at the bottom of Namhti mountain range which in rich with biodiversity of flora and fauna. Name after Hkamti Shan name meaning “Golden River” has became the centre of cultivation place for the fruits that Father Robert Moss has introduced thus to day famous for its sweet fruits production. In the evening visit famous Kanugmulon Pagoda, said to be one of the 84000 pagodas built by Thiri Dhamma Thawka, the great king and drive back to Putao (14 km, approx one hour). Dinner and overnight at Htawan Razi gueshouse. (B, L, D)


Day(9) Putao – Yangon ( English Speaking Guide )

Breakfast and sightseeing in the Putao market will be highlight of today and visit Mularshidi village by jeep (about 30-mintes). After transfer to airport for your onward departure flight to conclude this unique experience and flight to Yangon. Overnight at Green Hill Hotel in Yangon.(B)



Day(10) Yangon, departure

Breakfast at hotel / packed breakfast in the early morning, then your driver will pick you up your hotel and transfer to airport for your onwards Int'l departure.
