Day(1) Yangon - Dawei

Flight from Yangon to Dawei. Explore Dawei, a peaceful seaside town and an important center of Buddhism in Myanmar. Begin with the major temples, PA SHU KYAUK PAGODA, with an impressive Buddha statue and SHIN MOUT HTI PAGODA, which was built in 1438 and contains a relic from the original Boddhi Tree. Along its walls are murals by a local artist who later achieved nationwide fame. Finish the day with a stroll downtown to soak in the unique atmosphere of the town, passing Chinese temples and colonial style buildings as trishaws and horse carts pass you by. Overnight in Dawei.

Day(2) Dawei

Breakfast at Hotel. Visit Kanna Market Explore Dawei's largest fresh market, located near the river. Here vendors sell the day's first catch of fish, fresh fruit, flowers, vegetables and meat. With lively crowds, and colorful wares, the market is a kaleidoscope of activity in the early mornings (the market is most lively between 5.30am and 7.30am) Excursion to Maungmagan and Hmyaw Yit Beach From Dawei, head westwards to MAUNGMAGAN BEACH, stopping enroute at the YEI BU HOT SPRINGS. Relax at Maungmagan beach before continuing to HMYAW YIT BEACH ("Wishing and Waiting Beach"), and visit the HMYAW YIT PAGODA, a pagoda-on-water located just offshore, next to a scenic bay and lovely stretches of beach. Relax or explore the beach before returning to Dawei. Overnight in Dawei.

Day(3) Dawei - Myeik

Breakfast at Hotel. Excursion to Sabar Taung Drive to the foot of SABAR TAUNG (Rice Hill), to the east of Dawei. Begin your ascent, which takes approximately one hour before reaching the summit. At the top, enjoy panoramic views over the Dawei river and the surrounding mountains. Especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Flight from Dawei to Myeik. Sightseeing in Myeik Orient yourself with a walk along the waterfront and through the downtown area, passing colonial-style buildings, an old Portuguese church side by side with a Buddhist pagoda. Enjoy sunset at THEINDAWGYI PAGODA (also known as LAY KYUN SEO MI PAGODA), whose terrace offers great views over the port. End the day at local Chinese house where they produce the birds nests, much prized as a delicacy used in soups. Overnight in Myeik.

Day(4) Myeik

Breakfast at Hotel. Visit the central market Excursion by wooden boat to Pataw and Padet Island Explore the twin PATAW and PADET ISLANDS facing with Myeik. Set out by local wooden boat towards PATAW ISLAND. After arriving at the island, visit SOFT SHELL CRAB FARM and SHIPYARD. Then trek to the mountain of PATAW for about 90 minutes to enjoy a clear panoramic view of the nearby region and observe the rare species of birds and monkeys. Then continue to PADET ISLAND to briefly explore and visit ATULA SHWE THALYAUNG PAGODA, with its reclining Buddha image. In the late afternoon, head back to Myeik by boat. Overnight in Myeik.

Day(5)Myeik - Kawthoung

Breakfast at Hotel. Sightseeing in Myeik Discover different aspects of the local lifestyle and industries, visiting a LOBSTER FARM, a BETEL NUT, CASHEW NUT and CANDLEMAKING WORKSHOP. Note: Some industries may be closed depend on the season of their raw materials. Transfer Flight from Myeik to Kawthoung. Transfer from Kawthaung airport to jetty by Myanmar Andaman Resort By speedboat from Kawthoung Jetty to Myanmar Andaman Resort by Myanmar Andaman Resort Meet on arrival at Kawthaung jetty/ Myanmar Immgration Check-point. Transfer to Myanmar Andaman Resort (M.A.R) by resort's speed boat. Dinner and overnight at Myanmar Andaman Resort. Overnight in Kawthoung.

Day(6) Kawthoung

Breakfast at Hotel. All day at leisure Overnight in Kawthoung.

Day(7) Kawthoung

Breakfast at Hotel. All day at leisure Overnight in Kawthoung.

Day(8) Kawthoung

Breakfast at Hotel. All day at leisure Overnight in Kawthoung.

Day(8) Kawthoung

Breakfast at Hotel. By speedboat from Myanmar Andaman Resort to Ranong (Samplanpa Jetty) by Myanmar Andaman Resort * No local guide * After breakfast, transfer back to Kawthaung jetty/ Myanmar Immigraion check-point from M.A.R by Resort's speed boat and proceed to Samplanpa jetty (Ranong Jetty).
