Inle Lake & Vicinity

Inle Lake is located in the heart of the Shan State amid hilly and easily accessible from Yangon, Bagan or Mandalay by Air. The vast picturesque lake, 900 metres above sea-level, is one of the major tourist attractions of Myanmar and famous for its scenic beauty, the unique leg-rowing of Inthas; the native people who are inhabit there and floating gardens, floating market, amazing traditional weaving workshops which can be only seen in this region. 800 years old Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, built by King Alaung Sithu is a mid-lake temple in which lavishly gilded five Buddha images were enshrined and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda Festival is very spectacular, held in every October. (The end of the Buddhist Lent) Without visiting Inle Lake, your Myanmar trip would be incomplete and meaningless.

visit Indein Ruins of complex whose Pagodas and Stupas were built in the eighth century. There are a number of shops along the hill for you to enjoy. Return back to Inle Lake, continue explore villages, farms and some of the local villages to observe their daily life. Shwe Indein Pagoda - Where to visit Indein is one of the small villages of Inle Lake located on the western bank of the lake. A Buddha image has enshrined at a whitewashed stupa, which is on the summit of a hill. Below the stupa around the hill are cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas most are ruins overgrown with bushes. The pagoda hill is quiet and calm. One could feel the pleasant cool breeze with the sweet rings of the bells hanging at the umbrella of the stupa. Mesmerizing view from pagoda hill release the fatigue and refresh everybody who ascend to the peak.



Taunggyi & Vicinity

Sagaing lies 21 km southwest of Mandalay, on the west bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. It is also an ancient capital of Myanmar and famous as a religious retreat and centre of Buddhist studies and meditation. The Sagaing Hills are dotted with many of ancient pagodas and over 500 Monasteries and meditation centres where monks and nuns are live for Buddhist studies and meditation. Kaung Hmu Daw Pagoda, Soon U Ponnya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thoneze Pagoda and near by Ywahtaung Village (home of the silversmith’s craftsmen) are all worth a visit.



Kalaw & Vicinity

Kalaw welcome you with cool breeze in every season. It’s located 70 km west of Taungyi, about halfway along the Thazi-Taungyi road and sits at 1,300 meters elevation. There are many hiking trails amid gnarled pines and bamboo groves. Palaung Tribe Village is famous for trekking. At first a steep track leads down into a narrow valley where the Palaung cultivate cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hill.




Pindaya & Vicinity

Pindaya is situated at 1164-m above sea level and is 40-km from Kalaw. Its famous for its extensive limestone caves which overlooking the Pindaya Lake and Shwe U Min Paya which is full of Buddha images of about 8000 and picturesque Boutaloke Lake. Pindaya. There are many big banyan trees lined up at the base of the Pindaya hill, Hgnatpyawtaw, a Danu village is at the end of these trees and it is most attraction of visitors.
